Inspection on Relocation Site for R-10 ISFS

Department of Public Works and Highways – National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) Director Melvin B. Navarro led an environmental scanning at the Pandi, Bulacan relocation site provided for the informal settler families affected by the rehabilitation, reconstruction and widening of Radial Road 10 (Road-10) project. DPWH, together with representatives from the National Housing Authority (NHA) also met with the housing beneficiaries to ensure necessary government assistance are given to the families.

DPWH Pangasinan Second district Engineering Office Tops Region 1’s Maintenance of National Roads and Bridges

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) II Pangasinan District Engineering Office is number one among the Ten (10) District Engineering Offices (DEOS) in Region 1 on the maintenance of Roads and Bridges last 2015, this was announced during the recently held DPWH Third Regional Staff Conference. The District Engineering Office is headed by District Engineer Rodolfo C. Dion.

Two More By Pass Roads On-Going in Region 1

he By-Pass Roads in Candon City, Ilocos Sur and Urdaneta, Pangasinan were reported to be on-going on its implementation as informed during the recent Project Engineers Meeting at the DPWH Regional Office.

The 2.86 kilometers Candon City By-Pass Road in Ilocos Sur which now has a total of 95.77% accomplishment was reported by Project Engr. Roy R. Aruta to DPWH Regional Director Melanio C. Briosos.

Reliable Transport Infrastructure Seen in the Completion of the Laoag City-By-Pass Road

In Ilocos Norte, reliable transport infrastructure is seen in the completion of the construction of the Phase three of the Laoag City-By-Pass Road once it will be opened to public transport. DPWH Regional Director Melanio C. Briosos said the road construction of the By-pass was completed last January 31, 2016. It has a total contract cost of Php353.463 million pesos in its road construction. The Laoag City-By Pass has a 7.93 kilometers length of road.

DPWH Breaks Ground for P800-M Gumaca Bypass Road Project

The construction of a bypass road project that will lessen 20 minutes of travel time in Gumaca Quezon has officially started in a recently held ground breaking ceremony led by Quezon Fourth District Engineer Celestial S. Flancia and Congresswoman Angelina DL. Tan of the Quezon 4th Legislative District of Quezon Province. Dubbed as Gumaca Bypass Road, this project worth P800 million will be implemented by the DPWH Regional Office IV-A within 5 years. It is expected to encourage new businesses and job opportunities for the residents in Gumaca.
