Paved Section of Diversion Road Enhances Transportation in Dumangas, Iloilo

Motorists are now reaping the benefits of a concrete paved road completed by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) along a portion of the Dumangas-Barotac Nuevo Diversion Road in Dumangas, Iloilo.

According to DPWH Regional Office 6 Director Sanny Boy Oropel, the project involved the construction of a 634.1-linear meter long, 13.4-meter wide concrete road with two (2) lanes or one (1) lane for each direction.

DPWH Paves Road to Malamawi Island in Basilan

A concrete paving project by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is ongoing on a 5.4-lane kilometer access road leading to Malamawi White Beach in Isabela City, Basilan.

In her report to Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan and Undersecretary for Regional Operations in Mindanao Eugenio R. Pipo, Jr., DPWH Region 9 Director Cayamombao Dia said that the road paving project in convergence with the Department of Tourism, with an allocation of P108.9 million.

DPWH Completes 2.2-kilometer Bangui Bypass Road to Alleviate Traffic in Ilocos Norte

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed the 2.2-kilometer Bangui Bypass Road Project in Ilocos Norte, a major infrastructure project to ease traffic delays and improve transport efficiency.

In his update to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, DPWH Region 1 Director Ronnel M. Tan said that the 4-lane bypass road project with drainage, slope protection structure, road safety measures and streetlights now shortens the travel time between Barangay Bacsil and Barangay Nagbalagan in Bangui Town from 10 minutes to 4-5 minutes.

New Road Ongoing to Connect Agusan Del Sur, Surigao Del Sur

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has made significant progress on the Sta. Irene – San Miguel Road Project in Barangay Sta. Irene, municipality of Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur, a crucial infrastructure project aimed at improving inter-provincial connectivity between Agusan del Sur and Surigao del Sur.

DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, citing a report from DPWH Region XIII OIC-Director Alex B. Ramos, said that the ongoing 36.90-kilometer road project was already substantially completed with 30.10 kilometers of road opening and 7.47-kilometer segment paved.
