DPWH to Open CLLEX up to Aliaga, Nueva Ecija by May 15

Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark A. Villar declared that a new toll-free expressway from Tarlac City will be open to motoring public up to Aliaga, Nueva Ecija by May 15, 2021.

Secretary Villar said that witihin the next 90 days, the 18 kilometer section from the connection of SCTEX and TPLEX in Balingcanaway, Tarlac City up to Aliaga Interchange of the Central Luzon Link Expressway (CLLEX) Project Phase 1 will be substantially completed.

3 Major Flood Control Structures in Cagayan, Underway

Residents along coastal areas in Cagayan will soon benefit from the three (3) major flood control structures being constructed by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

Based on a report submitted to Secretary Mark A. Villar by DPWH Cagayan 2nd District Engineering Office (DEO), a 393-lineal meters flood control structures will be constructed in the Municipality of Lasam particularly the Cagayan State University – Lasam Flood Control along Kikkinig River and Cagayan River Flood Control in the barangays of Aggunetan and Calao Sur.

2-Storey PNP Building Constructed in Isabela

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed a new Police Station Building in the Municipality of Alicia, Isabela Province.

The new Alicia Police Station Building Project is a 2-storey building integrated with covered roof deck, reliable roofing and structural sheet metals, wide-glass window and entry doors, neat paint finish, and ground floor ramps to cater persons with disabilities (PWD).

New Farm to Market Road in Progress in Pamplona, Camarines Sur

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is fast-tracking the completion of a farm to market road (FMR) to facilitate faster transport of farm produce in the Municipality of Pamplona, Camarines Sur.

In his report to DPWH Secretary Mark A. Villar, DPWH Camarines Second District Engineer Ruben S. Santos, Jr. said that the ongoing concreting of a 1-lane kilometer road in Barangay Patong is set for completion this February 2021.

DPWH Completes 180-Capacity Barracks in Zamboanga Del Sur

In support to the country’s military troops in Western Mindanao, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has constructed a billeting facility in Upper Pulacan, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur to serve as operational and lodging facility for the Philippine Army - 1st Infantry Division.

To serve as the second home for the military unit which is also known as the Tabak Division, Secretary Mark A. Villar said that the implementation of the two-storey barracks worth P7.12-million is part of the Department’s efforts in aiding the government forces with their daily operations.
