TPLEX Final Phase

Construction of Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX), a 88-kilometer expressway project from Tarlac City to Rosario, La Union under design, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of Private Infra Development Corporation (PIDC) of San Miguel Corporation is in full swing with 49 kilometers already operational since the first quarter of 2014 and the additional 13.72 kilometers Rosales to Urdaneta City Section currently in the finishing stages and open free of toll charges to class 1 vehicles (4 wheels) this holiday season up to January 20, 2015.

TPLEX Extends Service to Urdaneta City

Travellers bound for provinces in Northern Luzon and Cordillera Regions will find their travel time further reduced with the road service of Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPLEX) now extended up to Urdaneta City, Pangasinan for a total expressway length of 63.02 kilometers from Tarlac City, end of SCTEX. Department of Public Works and Highways Secretary (DPWH) Rogelio L. Singson directed DPWH Region 1 Director Melanio C. Briosos to install informative signs leading to Urdaneta City entry/exit of the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway in Pangasinan. P60-M Bridge Replacement in Quezon City Completed Ahead of Schedule

A bridge project costing P60 Million that aims to cope with present vehicular traffic demand along Daang Maharlika in the province of Quezon is now completed ahead of its target date on January 11. 2015.

In an update to Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Rogelio L. Singson, DPWH Region IV-A OIC-Director Samson L. Hebra said that the Quianuang Bridge rehabilitation project, located at Barangay Sampaloc 2 in the municipality of Sariaya is now open to traffic.

The new road opening for the Zamboanga City By-Pass Road, now 62 percent complete, is among the 2014 significant accomplishments of the Department of Public Works and Highways in Western Mindanao.

Linking east with the west coast through Barangay Patalon to Barangay Culianan, the road project will decongest traffic within the Zamboanga City proper providing the neighboring cities of Dipolog, Pagadian and other municipalities a direct trade route to the Zamboanga Free Port Zone.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) shares the Christmas spirit to families living in Barangay 651 Zone 68 Port Area, Manila through a “Pamaskong Handog” gift-giving activity held at the DPWH Central Office. Officials and employees under the Support Services Group headed by Undersecretary Jaime A. Pacanan and Assistant Secretary Ardeliza Medenilla collectively shared for the pack goods and small amount given to some 100 families as DPWH Secretary Rogelio L.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) shares the spirit of 2014 Christmas Season with a “Pamaskong Handog” gift-giving activity nationwide.

DPWH Undersecretary Jaime A. Pacanan together with Assistant Secretary Ardeliza R. Medenilla and the Directors and employees under the Support Services Group heeded the call of Secretary Rogelio L. Singson to conduct Community Extension Program for more meaningful Christmas celebration which started with the distribution of packed goods among 100 chosen families living in Barangay 651 Zone 68 Port Area, Manila.
