DPWH Chief Meets DND Officials

An upgraded portion of Lamisahan-Victoria Road now facilitates improved accessibility and more convenient transport for local communities in Barangay Lamisahan, Zamboanga City.

Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Region 9 Director Cayamombao D. Dia reported that the newly-paved 443.19-linear meter road reduces travel time to and from the national highway from 30 minutes to only 19 minutes.

A flood control structure was built by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in the coastal Barangay of Cortes, Surigao del Sur to ensure the safety of residents and their properties from flooding brought by dangerous tides and turbulent waves.

The 181.6 lineal meter concrete seawall constructed with concrete slope protection, grouted riprap and structural steel sheet piles is an eagerly anticipated project for the locals who frequently experience anxiety and worry during bad weather conditions.

DPWH Nueva Ecija Second District Engineering Office (DEO) is implementing the P88.4-million project that involves the construction of an 846-lineal-meter gabion-type flood control structure along Coronel River’s Barangay Bugnan Section in Gabaldon town.
