The Department of Public Works and Highways participated in the assessment/workshop for the Department of Agriculture Farm-To-Market Road (FMR) Projects on June 19-21, 2019 at the Leyte Park Hotel, Tacloban City.
The 3-day assessment cum workshop became an avenue for the presentation of status report of FMRs. The district presented the overall status of the 2017 DA-FMR projects wherein all are 100% completed while the DA-FMR projects in 2018 has an 83% actual accomplishment as of June 17, 2019 of the Project Monitoring Group. They also presented the implementation of 2019 FMR projects and proposed FMR for 2020 projects.
This is a continued effort of both departments to give the service needed by the Filipino people. FMRs will support the establishment of business of agricultural production and offer access to agricultural goods to the marketplace.
