Chevrons Installed Along Aklan West Road
Local and foreign tourists going to Boracay Island can now travel safely with the provision of warning and directional signs along the national roads.
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) - Aklan District Engineering Office has completed the installation of chevrons along the curve sections of Aklan West Road from the towns of Nabas to Caticlan in Malay.
Installed signs are vital to the safety of motorists from Iloilo City and the provinces of Iloilo and Capiz going to Caticlan in Malay town, vice versa.

DPWH Completes PUP Covered Court
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed the construction of a multi-purpose building in Sta. Mesa, Manila that will encourage local residents and university students to be active in sports and fitness activities.
The building project in the amount of P9.59 million involves the construction of 18.0 meters by 35.0 meters covered court inside the compound of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines-College of Engineering and Architecture (PUP-CEA) in Barangay 628 Zone 63, Sta. Mesa, Manila.
Newly-Paved Road Makes Way for Dinagat Islands Tourism Growth
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed a road improvement project amounting to P425-million, covering the improvement of 11 kilometers Dinagat-Loreto Road connecting the municipalities Cagdianao, San Jose, Basilisa, Libjo, Tubajon and Loreto in Dinagat Islands.
With better road access leading to untouched tourism destinations, Dinagat Islands Province in the south side of Leyte Gulf in Caraga Region is now ready to accommodate more local and international visitors.
