Seamless, faster travel expected upon the completion of an ongoing road widening project by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) along Digos-Makar Road in the landlocked municipality of Malungon, Sarangani Province.

The project, implemented by the DPWH Regional Office 12, covers the construction of 3.93 kilometers of concrete cement pavement, transforming the four-lane road into a six-lane highway.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed the installation of road safety devices along winding road section of Siquijor Province, facilitating secured access for motorists.

In his report to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, DPWH Siquijor District Engineer Yusoph D. Rasuman said that the road safety improvement project which covers the installation of double rolling barriers on dangerous road curves of Luyang-Poo-Lazi Road, will help reduce or prevent the severity of accidents in the mountainous area.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed a road project to benefit an indigenous community in Barangay Pili, Sariaya, Quezon Province.

DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, citing a report from DPWH Region 4A Director Jovel G. Mendoza, said that the road project, funded through the 2024 General Appropriations Act (GAA), was initiated as part of the Convergence and Special Support Program under the Basic Infrastructure Program (BIP).
