Employees of Department of public Works and Highways Ilocos Sur 2nd District Engineering Office in Candon City celebrates the awarding of the ISO 9001:2008 Certification of their Quality Management System by affixing their signature as pledge to their commitment to continually deliver effective and efficient service to the public.
The pledge ceremony was led by District Engineer Jose G. Ginete Jr., OIC Asst. District Engineer Renato G. Gagno and Administrative Officer Ms. Ricarda C. Pande.
DPWH Ilocos Sur 2nd DEO was among the fifteen (15) Pilot District Engineering Offices included in the expansion program of the DPWH QMS ISO 9001:2008 Certification along with the five (5) Unified Project Management Offices (UPMO) and the remaining fifteen (15) Regional Offices.
In 2015, nineteen (19) DPWH offices were awarded certification including the nine (9) S00ervices and six (6) Bureaus that comprise the Central Office; and two (2) pilot Regional Offices (National Capital Region and Region XI), and two (2) pilot District Engineering Offices.
