Two (2) fully-equipped government centers with combined cost of P186.76 million were completed and turned over by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) to the local governments of Quezon City and San Juan City.

DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, citing a report from DPWH National Capital Region Director Loreta M. Malaluwan, said that the new buildings are now able to strengthen government services in Barangay Bagbag, Quezon City and Barangay Little Baguio, San Juan City.

In June 2024, the DPWH Quezon City First District Engineering Office turned-over the newly-constructed 3-storey government center in Barangay Bagbag, Quezon City.

The P28.52-million building can cater roughly a hundred persons at a time and is equipped with office areas with comfort rooms, a conference room, a daycare area, pantry, and a storage area. It also has a parking space and driveway, a multi-purpose area, a roof deck, and is equipped with basic lighting fixtures, air-conditioning system, and fire exit for the convenience and safety of government personnel and the public.

Another improved government center was built by the DPWH Metro Manila First District Engineering Office in Barangay Little Baguio, San Juan City in the amount of P158.24 million.

The project in San Juan is a 4-storey building that caters essential services with its spaces for daycare, dental, and medical clinics, including a mortuary facility. It also provides administrative offices for barangay officials and a space for recreational activities with a basketball court.
