
The Department of Public Works and Highways announces the resumption of its weekly road repair schedule along EDSA, C-5, and other portions in Quezon City.
According to DPWH National Capital Regional Director Nomer Abel P. Canlas, the road rehabilitation activities will start at 11 p.m., Friday, July 15, 2022 and will cover the continuation of repair works on the following road segments of EDSA Northbound: along Santolan MRT Station, bus lane; after P. Tuazon flyover to Aurora Tunnel, 3rd lane from center island (fast lane); after Aurora Boulevard to New York Street, 3rd lane from center island (intermittent section); and after Kamuning Road and Kamias Road to JAC Liner Bus Station, beside center island in Quezon City.
Repair works will likewise resume along EDSA Southbound, from Balingasa Creek to Oliveros Footbridge in Quezon City.
Second lane of C-5 Southbound in Makati City will be also closed for repair.
Other repair works in Quezon City include: Quirino Highway, before Manila North Diversion Road (MNDR) Flyover, 2nd inner lane; Cloverleaf (CHN.000 – CHN 258) going to NLEX Northbound; and Cloverleaf (CHN.000 – CHN 234) going to NLEX Southbound.
Due to anticipated traffic slowdowns near construction areas, motorists are advised to take possible alternate routes until affected road sections are reopened to traffic by 5 a.m. on Monday, July 18, 2022.
