DPWH resumes road repair works in EDSA, C5

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will resume this 11 p.m., Friday, May 28, 2021, its road maintenance works in Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) and Circumferential Road 5 (C-5), Quezon City this weekend.

Citing reports from DPWH – National Capital Region (NCR) Director Eric A. Ayapana, Secretary Mark A. Villar said that the road rehabilitation activities will be undertaken along northbound direction of EDSA, near corner Kaingin Road.

Reblocking activities will also be done at the northbound section of C-5 Road starting from after C.P. Garcia, 3rd lane from sidewalk; after Rajah Matanda, 3rd lane from sidewalk; and after Highland Drive, 2nd lane from sidewalk.

Under the implementation of DPWH Quezon City 2nd District Engineering Office, the road repair works was given clearance by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA).

Due to expected temporary traffic slowdown in affected areas, motorists are advised to take possible alternate routes.
The affected road sections will reopen at 5 a.m., Monday, May 31, 2021.
