Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Negros Occidental First District Engineering Office undertakes asphalt overlay along Bacolod North Road, intermittent sections, using Asphalt paver. The 11.906-km project amounting to ₱89 million is expected to increase the life span of the existing Portland Concrete Cement Pavement (PCCP) to provide better riding comfort to the public.
