"Falcon" Update: MNR-Bulacan Section Not Passable to Light Vehicles: 3 Roads in CAR Closed

Four roads in Region 3 and Cordillera Administrative Region are now closed to traffic, according to the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Bureau of Maintenance.

As of 5:00 p.m., July 10, 2015, Friday, BOM reported that the SM Section (K0021+000) of Manila North Road in Marilao, Bulacan was closed to light vehicles due to flooding while the following roads in CAR are still impassable due to reoccurrence of landslide, rockslide and mudslide:

BENGUET

1. Baguio-Bua-Itogon Road, K0261+330, Sitio Goldfield, Poblacion, Itogon; and

2. Acop-Kapangan-Kibungan-Bakun Road, K0349+050, Gakian Section, Gambang, Bakun.

KALINGA

1. Kalinga-Abra Road, K0526+020, Balbalasang, Balbalan.

Once areas are declared safe, DPWH personnel and manpower will be deployed for the clearing operation on these roads which are expected to be opened by Saturday, July 11, 2015.
