Motorists in Koronadal, South Cotabato can now enjoy improved visibility and safer journey with the new solar-powered lights and center islands constructed by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) along Marbel-Makar Road.
DPWH Region 12 Director Basir M. Ibrahim, in a report to DPWH Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, said that a total of 215 double arm solar LED roadway light posts were installed along the 6.7-lane kilometer section of Marbel-Makar Road to enhance both road safety and security.

Local Road Improves Agri Trading in Magdiwang, Romblon
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has opened road access to an upland part of Magdiwang, Romblon, also known as Beatriz Road, now significantly improving the delivery of farm products, primarily coconuts and vegetable crops to the market centers.
DPWH Regional Office IV-B Director Gerald A. Pacanan, in his report to Secretary Manuel M. Bonoan, said that the 2.6-kilometer road project aims to support local farmers and residents, enhancing transportation access from the mountainous areas while boosting agri trading in key communities.
