The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) formally kicked off on Monday, March 10, 2025, the month-long celebration of National Women’s Month, with activities and programs that aim to uplift and recognize women and their contributions to nation building.

Motorists are now reaping the benefits of a concrete paved road completed by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) along a portion of the Dumangas-Barotac Nuevo Diversion Road in Dumangas, Iloilo.

According to DPWH Regional Office 6 Director Sanny Boy Oropel, the project involved the construction of a 634.1-linear meter long, 13.4-meter wide concrete road with two (2) lanes or one (1) lane for each direction.
