DPWH paves road leading to tourist destination in Negros Occidental

The Bird Watching Area, resting in the coastal wetlands of Brgy. Daan Banwa in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental is one of the Ramsar sites in the province, which is known to be a flyway site of migratory birds, hence the improvement of the road leading to this spot provides both foreign and local tourists a better and more convenient transportation access.

DPWH completes P46.5 million revetment structure along Tullahan River

A newly-constructed revetment wall of 9 meters tall now serves as a protective barrier to flooding of residents living close to Tullahan River in SSS Village, Barangay North Fairview, Quezon City.

Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) National Capital Region Director Melvin B. Navarro said a total of P46.5 million was spent for the 461-lineal meter structure built under Rehabilitation and Improvement of Tullahan River Phase II.
