DPWH Awarded at 45th CES Gala Night

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) was among the national government agencies presented with recognition by the Career Executive Service Board (CESB) during the Career Executive Service (CES) Gala Night on November 10, 2018 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) Reception Hall, PlCC Complex, Pasay City.

DPWH was recipient of two (2) plaque of recognition: Government Agency that complies with the Career Executive Service Performance Evaluation System (CESPES) Online Rating, and Most Number of CES Eligibles in an Agency.

NEW ODA-FINANCED INFRA PROJECTS SET TO BEGIN SOON

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is set to roll out more Official Development Assistance (ODA)-funded infrastructure projects.

DPWH Undersecretary Emil K. Sadain of the Unified Project Management Office (DPWH-UPMO) Operations and Technical Services together with the five (5) UPMO Project Directors presented to Secretary Mark A. Villar an update of the many planned, on-going and completed infrastructure projects under the UPMO Clusters during the Project Performance Review meeting also attended by Project Managers and Administrative Officers.

DPWH hosts 9th Meeting of Agencies with China-funded projects

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) hosted Thursday, November 8, 2018 the ninth meeting of China Projects Task Force, the interagency task force closely monitoring and facilitating the preparation and implementation of Philippines’ flagship projects proposed for China’s Official Development Assistance (ODA) financing.

DPWH paves new road leading to tourism hotspot in Capiz

To allow better mobility for locals and tourists exploring Region VI, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has recently completed a new access road leading to an emerging tourist destination in Jamindan, Capiz.

DPWH Capiz 2nd District Engineering Office, together with the Department of Tourism, undertook the concrete paving of the 1.34-kilometer local road leading to Malinamon Falls in Barangay Jaena Norte.
