SIGNS MOA FOR DPWH LOW COST HOUSING FACILITIES
DPWH
Secretary Hermogenes E. Ebdane Jr. recently signed a Memorandum
of Agreement with the Officials and Board of Directors of the
DPWH Housing Multi-Purpose Cooperative regarding the
implementation of the low-cost housing facilities for DPWH
employees in Taguig City, Metro Manila. With Secretary Ebdane
are Undersecretaries Bashir Rasuman, Florante Soriquez, Salvador
Pleyto and Assistant Secretary Rafael Yabut. |

SECRETARY RECEIVES PLAQUE OF APPRECIATION
DPWH Secretary Hermogenes
E. Ebdane Jr. receives a plaque of appreciation from the
Directos’ League of the Philippines Inc. ( DLP ) Interim
President and DPWH Assistant Secretary Juanito Abergas during
the General Assembly of the DLP. Witnessing the event were DLP’s

DPWH Secretary Jun Ebdane
(at right) confers with Undersecretary Salvador A. Pleyto,
Assistant Secretary Rafael Yabut, National Building Code
Development Office Executive Director Emmanuel Cuntapay and
other officials as they conduct checking of the structural
integrity of Araullo High School in Manila as proactive stance
against earthquake. Ebdane has earlier directed all municipal
and city building officials to carry out similar inspection on
government buildings particularly school buildings to ensure
safety. The administration and enforcement of the provisions of
the National Building Code and its implementing rules and
regulations including imposition of penalties for administrative
violations is vested upon the DPWH Secretary. |
