As envisioned by President Benigno S. Aquino III to achieve “Ang Tuwid na Daan” and to boost the economic development of the country ‘s underdeveloped areas, infrastructure facilities were given priority such as roads, bridges, school buildings and other public utilities.
Proof of its sincerity in improving the lives of all those who live I the countryside and remote areas, Mindoro Occidental District 1 Engineering Office, with its main building at the Airport Road, Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro, under the able stewardship of OIC-District Engineer Josefino M. Melgar, Jr., OIC-Assistant District Salvador E. Abad and Staff, has materialized the construction or replacement of old aged/deteriorated bridges for easy access of the travelling public and transport of commodities.
By the year 2016, Mindoreños can look forward to a dust-free-road, concrete bridges and improved the public utilities that will link not only the province, but will also untie the people up to the most secluded part.
