The weather disturbance lurking in the region with tropical depression “Ambo” in this mid- April hot summer, did not hinder or opt the DPWH Batangas 1st District Engineering Office headed by the hardworking and dynamic tandem of District Engineer Rosauro A. Adapon and Assistant District Engineer Jose E. Almero to push through, as scheduled with the 110^th Anniversary KICK- OFF CEREMONY highlighted by the different program of activities from invocation down to a Holy Mass Celebration to a various, hilarious parlor games and a suspenseful and complicated singing contest.

Quezon 1^st District Engineering Office headed by OIC-District Engineer Alfredo M. Peñamante and Asst. District Engineer Walfredo L. Perez assisted by  the Section Chiefs unveiled the DPWH 110^th Anniversary Theme and Slogan.

Quezon 2nd DEO

A festive mood with song and dance celebration and unleashing of 110 significant balloons marked Quezon 2^nd District Engineering Office and Quezon Area Equipment Services kick-off ceremony of the DPWH 110^th Anniversary. Also, OIC-District Engineer Celestial S. Flancia and Asst. District Engineer Renato C. Alcala together with all employees and Staff posed in front of the 1901 Steam Roller Equipment (one of the oldest equipment of DPWH).

Quezon 3rd DEO

OIC-District Engineer Rogelio P. Rejano and OIC-Asst. District Engineer Marcelito G. Ferrer led Quezon 3^rd District Engineering Employees with the unveiling of the DPWH 110^th Anniversary theme and slogan.  A cleanliness campaign followed the ceremony.

Quezon 4th DEO

Quezon 4^th District Engineering Office marked their kick-off ceremony of DPWH 110^th anniversary celebration with District Engineer Ronnel M. Tan’s encouraging message to all the employees.  OIC-Asst. District Engineer Salvador E. Salvana informed on the activities of this anniversary celebration.  A sports fest activity followed the District’s celebration.

Rizal 1st DEO

Rizal 1^st District Engineering Office headed by District Engineer Edgardo P. Peralta together with Asst. District Engineer Elmo Concina and all employees were dressed-up in Filipiniana costumes in celebrating the DPWH 110^th Anniversary Kick-Off ceremony.  After the launching of the DPWH 110^th Anniversary Theme and Slogan; it was followed by the unveiling of the book “Stone and Steel”, a visual directory of the roads, bridges and other infrastructure projects completed from 2001 to 2007.

Rizal 2nd DEO

Rizal 2^nd District Engineering Office powerfully launched the DPWH 110^th Anniversary Kick-Off Ceremony by an inspiring message from District Engineer Oscar U. Dela Cruz.  Asst. District Engineer Mercedes L. Santos also rendered her message depicting the theme of DPWH 110^th Anniversary. A Taebo Dance exercises and Memorabilia display of Old Books, Old Service Records, Old Pictures and Old Trophies highlighted the ceremony.
