The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), in partnership with First Pacific Leadership Academy, and after the success of its Cadet Engineer Program pioneer batch, has opened its Cadetship program one again to continue to develop qualified young civil engineers who aspire to become part of the Departments’ manpower driven for public service and the country’s advancement.

The DPWH Cadet Engineer Program is a workplace learning and development program that aims to bring together young, vibrant, and intelligent civil engineers and prepare them for becoming competent members of the DPWH. It shall familiarize them with the workings of them with the workings of the agency by immersing them in its operations. The program shall develop the engineer’s functional and behavioral competencies through diverse learning methodologies, and instill in them a strong sense of personal integrity and desire to contribute to nation building through public service.

Requirements

Graduate of BS Civil Engineering with above average GWA/GPA
Obtained above average rating in the Civil Engineering board exams
21-25 years old
With strong leadership skills and dedication to public service
