About the
Director
 Director
Aristeo Reyes has a string of accomplishments and notable
achievements in handling finances.
He
started his career at the Department of Public Works and
Highways as Accounting Clerk at DPWH Region 1 on September 1973
shortly after completing his Bachelor in Commerce major in
Accountancy course at the Ateneo de Davao University.
Prior to his taking up of Accounting, he has also
completed Bachelor of Science in Management at the Notre Dame of
Tacurong College where he was a Dean’s Lister.
In
July 1974, he became permanent employee of the Department and on
October of that same year, he passed the licensure board exam
for Certified Public Accountant.
From
then on, he focused his sights
in public service as he steadily climbed
up the ladder of success, occupying key financial positions such
as Accountant II, Cost Accountant, Fiscal Controller I. Fiscal
Controller II, Fiscal Controller V until he was entrusted to
head the agency’s Comptrollership and Financial Management
Service.
Director
Reyes holds memberships in the following— Government
Association of CPAs, Association of Government Accountants of
the Philippines, and Dagupan Golf Association.
Born
on September 3, 1951, Reyes is married to Floser Jane; they have
three children – Ronald, Marice Joy, and Aries Joseph.
