EBDANE ORDERS STRICT IMPLEMENTATION OF R.A. 8794
During the regular staff meeting held at Clarkfield, Pampanga, Public Works and Highways Secretary Hermogenes E. Ebdane Jr. orders the strict implementation of R.A. 8794 or the Anti-Overloading Act. Ebdane instructed all the DPWH Regional Directors to come up with preventive measures on the ground to ensure that violators not only pay the penalty, but to apprehend overloaded trucks in coordination with the Land Transportation Office and Philippine National Police to avoid early deterioration of roads and bridges. |
